Joint Presentation of EVOS & Implico at this year’s StocExpo!

Under the title “Meeting customer demands with operational excellence despite resource constraints” we would like to invite you to listen to Henrik Hertel (EVOS) & Thomas Fahland (Implico) talk about our common vision for optimized planning of operations & infrastructure.

The talk will be about the huge untapped potential in process optimization of infrastructure and crew planning, as this planning process is the essential link between a wide range of actors, such as customer service and terminal logistics experts. An important aspect of this end-to-end planning process is the flow of material from source to destination, e.g., from tank through line segments, pumps, and manifolds to the receiving point, e.g., jetties, railcar loading points, or pipelines to neighboring customers. The planning process is highly time-sensitive and is heavily influenced by the variety of customer requests and a significant number of mostly unavoidable anomalies (such as delayed vehicle arrivals or equipment failures).

Another major optimization opportunity lies in the automation of route assignment, or ‘automatic route planning’.

This joint presentation with EVOS provides an insight of EVOS current planning process and related issues from which recommendations for optimization are derived.
