From WR One to SAP Waste and Recycling
The Implico Group today announced that its comprehensive range of SAP solutions for waste management companies of all sizes will have its very first public showing at Entsorga-Enteco in Cologne. The international consulting and software specialist is exhibiting in Hall 8.1, Stand 031 (aisle C) at the international trade fair for recycling management and environmental technology from 27 to 30 October 2009. SAP partner Implico possesses extensive industry experience gained from a large number of successful projects and has developed a variety of customisation options for standard SAP waste management processes that are proving of invaluable practical benefit to their users. Because Implico customers have full access to this wealth of experience, their projects are more cost effective, proceed more quickly, and importantly, are more reliable.
The Implico service portfolio ranges from Waste and Recycling One (WR One), the cost-effective turnkey solution for smaller waste management operations, to a preconfigured SAP Waste and Recycling system for medium-size companies, through to the implementation of SAP Waste and Recycling for the large enterprise market. This industry business solution for the biggest waste disposal companies permits a high degree of customisation. Each of the three solution packages is configured to meet the needs and budgets of the size of company for which it was designed.
WR One is based on SAP Business One. Many waste disposal companies in Germany and the United Kingdom are already working with this solution, which was developed by Implico. Heinz GmbH & Co. KG from Moosburg near Munich is one of the companies at which the solution is currently being implemented.
Large waste management companies such as the Tönsmeier Group, Veolia, SITA, and local authority waste disposal operations in cities like Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich, are benefiting from the in-depth industry knowledge and the experience with SAP Waste and Recycling solutions available from Implico consultants.
As well as SAP industry-specific solutions for all business sizes, Implico will be showcasing an extension to its SAP Solution Map in Cologne: the Waste and Recycling Portal. The portal was developed by Implico for the waste disposal sector and is based on SAP Waste and Recycling. It provides registered customers with controlled access to the Internet on the SAP system of their waste management company. Implico will also be showing how its off-line weighing solutions can make waste weighing processes more efficient by enabling fully automatic vehicle weighing and data transfer to the SAP system. Telematics is another area that will feature strongly on the Implico stand with a presentation of some of the company's successful project solutions.
Electronic waste management records (the eANV implementation model) will be another key theme at the Implico stand. All waste transporters, waste disposal companies and most waste producers must be 'eANV-compliant' by 1 April 2010. Here, Implico has a solution to meet the needs of every size of company. For example, as a long-standing consulting and development partner of Tönsmeier, Implico has already seamlessly integrated a compliant electronic records system in the company's SAP system, making Tönsmeier the first German company with an SAP system capable of electronically documenting all of its waste disposal processes.
