Small and Medium-Sized Companies Show Great Interest
Since December 2008 the German version of Waste and Recycling One (WR One) is on the market. It is based on the SAP small and medium-sized business solution, Business One, and is distributed worldwide by Implico. The first customer to decide to use this industry solution is a company from Dresden, Körner Rohr & Umwelt GmbH a company specializing in environmental services.
Apart from Körner Rohr & Umwelt GmbH, several other small and medium-sized companies showed great interest in WR One. Some are even only steps away from contract conclusion. The strong interest emphasizes the huge market demand for an integrated SAP solution especially for small and medium-sized waste management companies. In Great Britain the innovative solution is already successfully in use in 12 waste management companies.
WR One was specifically developed for this target group. Business One and WR One maps all the company- and waste management specific processes. It herewith offers small and medium-sized waste management companies the possibility to map all their business processes in an integrated system. Among the diverse functionalities are the complete order management and scheduling, disposition, and vehicle management, as well as all the accounting and controlling functions. Additionally the solution can also be applied to customer relationship management.
With WR One small and medium-sized companies can primarily take advantage of integrated processes controlled through a single system. That means lower maintenance cost and licensing fees, minimal integration- and implementation efforts, and reducing the external contact persons, lowering the risks. Additionally there are the several advantages of automation, for example there is no need for tedious and error-prone manual data recording anymore. WR One also ensures quicker and more reliable invoicing.
The solution delivers detailed analysis and enables up-to-date reporting. When a report is missing or if it needs to be adapted, WR One can be used to independently and simply configure new reports. Additional advantages are: the software is completely integrated into Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word or Outlook. If required, a standard interface from SAP Business One to the SAP ERP-system can be used for data exchange. Altogether WR One reduces cost, optimizes the use of resources, and leads to noticeably higher efficiency.
