Implico, a top provider of SAP software solutions for downstream digitalization and a SAP Solution Extension (SOLEX) partner, has established a new advisory board to guide its transformation into an independent software vendor (ISV). Three experts from the field of SAP are joining the board: Uwe Bohnhorst, formerly in the management of NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, Nils Herzberg, with more than 35 years of management experience, mostly in SAP roles, and Peter Wimmer, a strategic consultant and advisor in software and IT services.
The advisory board will assist Implico’s management and Egeria investor team in expanding its specialized SAP solutions, initially developed for the energy sector, into new industries. Focused on automating supply chains for liquid goods, Implico will broaden its reach beyond oil and gas.
With its evolution into an independent software vendor (ISV) and growth platform for industry-specific SAP software, the company plans to strengthen its position by partnering with more implementation firms and providing them with training and support, enhancing its presence in the distribution of bulk goods.
