IFAT: Implico Presents SAP Solutions for Businesses of all Sizes
20 July 2010
Software and Consulting for Waste Disposal, Recycling and Scrap Trade
The international Implico Group will present SAP solutions for waste disposal companies of all sizes at IFAT in Munich. At the world's largest trade fair for environmental technology, which will be held September 13-17, the consulting and software company will also exhibit innovative solutions for the scrap trade and dispatching at Stand 218 in Hall B1.
Implico's services cover everything from the pre-set, cost-efficient Waste and Recycling One (WR One) solution for smaller waste management companies to the pre-configured SAP Waste and Recycling Mid-Market system for medium-sized businesses and SAP Waste and Recycling for large enterprises. All three service packages are tailored to the specific needs and budget of the respective company.
In addition to SAP industry solutions for companies of all sizes, Implico will present solutions for SAP integration and automated weighing processes, waste and recycling portals, and telematics. The innovative Integrated Dispatch Management (IDM) solution, which includes onboard computer integration – in this case, with the iPhone and iPad – will also be featured.
There will be a product premiere at the Implico stand during this year's IFAT as well: Together with its partner Itelligence AG, Implico will reveal the first comprehensive SAP solution especially for the scrap and recyclables sector. The new solution covers all processes, including planning, materials collection, storage, assessment, risk management, hedging and sales.
The experienced specialists from Implico will also provide practical demonstrations of the many options and advantages offered by optimized, integrated processes. Waste management companies can gain a long-term competitive edge by viewing their activities – from accepting orders to planning and optimizing trips, dispatching, confirmation and billing – as a single continuous process. Torsten Peter, Managing Director of Implico, explained, “The age of slow, expensive stand-alone applications for different parts of a company is over. Today, all waste management companies are striving for optimized processes, and this can only be achieved with comprehensive, integrated systems.”
