The US petroleum product distributor Maxum went live with the Implico-developed SAP solution for downstream sector companies in February 2011.

Best Practices for Oil & Gas is dedicated to providing thought-leadership, subject-matter expertise and best practices focused specifically on SAP for Oil & Gas solutions. The conference focuses on visibility and situational awareness, and opens up discussions around the key issues the industry is facing today. Leading strategies will be illustrated by customer case studies specifically on SAP for Oil & Gas solutions.

Maxum Petroleum and Implico will be showing how the US company has utilized SAP OGSD to optimize and automate all of its processes involving order processing. Thanks to SAP OGSD, confirmation of all material movements to the accounting and reporting units also takes place automatically. The presentation will also cover the CPR (Continuous Product Replenishment) functional enhancement.
