Implico Develop an Interface from OpenTAS to JD Edwards
18 September 2008
Communication between the loading system and the enterprise resource planning system
For the Vopak-Dupeg subsidiary in Hamburg, Implico implemented an interface between the loading- and shipping system OpenTAS and Vopak's PEPI-FI-system. The system is based on the enterprise resource planning system, JD Edwards. The worldwide largest tank terminal operator's billing data is communicated to the PEPI-FI-system. The data is broken down to meet the financial requirements of the financial department. The invoices generated in OpenTAS are transferred as processed accounting records.
With a history going back almost four centuries, Vopak is the world's largest provider of conditioned storage facilities for bulk liquids. Whether it's liquid or gaseous chemicals, oil products, petrochemicals, biofuels or vegetable oils we offer complete storage and transshipment solutions at 78 terminals in 31 countries, covering and connecting the world's major shipping lanes. Vopak offers more storage capacity than any other independent tank terminal operator in the world.
